My Si’s previous owner did a horrid plasti dip job on grill and I’ve gotten most of it off by peeling it...BUT there’s small parts holding on for dear life. I do not have WD40 in my house annoyingly so what’s the best remedy to get this shit off?
Goo gone?

Maybe brake clean?

This guy suggests alcohol, olive oil, and lemon juice. I’ve heard of using olive oil and water as a general WD40 substitute, so this makes sense.

Try some brake cleaner, that stuff always works wonders for me

DO NOT USE BREAK PARTS CLEANER.
It will strip the paint.

Any degreaser. But dilute it.

Take It Off And Buy Another One.

Goo gone sounds like a good idea, I’m pretty sure that’s what I used when trying to get the remaining crap off my wheels.
Pro tip, if you plasti-dip anything, put on multiple layers so you can take it off again. And when I say layers, let one dry as long as possible, then put another one on.

I’d there a hair dryer in the house? Heating it up a bit may help it soften.

This appears to be one thin layer, which makes my life harded

I figured as much. But I would try goo gone since it’s just orange degreaser. Just make sure to put wax or something on anything that it comes into contact with, especially paint.

Wait. You bought an Si? With plastidip? No one uses that on Hondas!
Seriously though, your best bet is some Goo gone.
Windex might work depending on how recent the coat is

Paint thinner if you’re daring
